Butler had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 12-15 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Fairdale Bulldogs 14-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in April.

As for Fairdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 19 of their last 22 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-25 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-25.

For Fairdale's part, Landon Webb was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that Webb has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Kelly, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
