Soccer Recap: Brookland-Cayce Takes a Loss

After flying high against Crestwood on Monday, Brookland-Cayce came back down to earth. The Bearcats came up short against the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles on Tuesday, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Brookland-Cayce were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Estefany Vargas, who's now up to two this season.

Brookland-Cayce now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Brookland-Cayce didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Aiken on the 30th. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Sumter on the 30th.
