Bennington kept up with Blair until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bears blew past the Badgers 3-0. The result was nothing new for Blair, who have now won ten games by three goals or more so far this season.

Cadence Field and Brynn Ray scored all three of Blair's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 41 goals.

Blair pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matches. As for Bennington, they moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blair will take on rival Elkhorn at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bennington is set to challenge their familiar foe Ralston at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
