Basketball Game Preview: Brazos Christian Eagles vs. Lake Country Christian Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Brazos Christian Eagles will jump right back in to play the Lake Country Christian Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Brazos Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Coram Deo Academy to the tune of 70-33 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won six contests in a row.

Meanwhile, Lake Country Christian came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 65-32. Given Lake Country Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while Temple Christian is ranked 779th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Country Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Brazos Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
