Nokomis put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the South County Vipers by a score of 2-0. The Redskins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vipers, too.

Nokomis easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14.

Addison Glenn paced Nokomis' offense, picking up nine kills. Glenn got some help from Kinley Stolte and her 18 assists. Stolte was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Nokomis' win bumped their record up to 17-0. As for South County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nokomis will venture away from home to face off against Vandalia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South County, they will head out to square off against Mt. Olive at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
