Softball Preview: Williamsport Millionaires vs. West Scranton Invaders
The Williamsport Millionaires will face off against the West Scranton Invaders at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Williamsport comes in on six and West Scranton on four.
On Saturday, Williamsport made easy work of Selinsgrove and carried off a 12-2 victory. The Millionaires might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.
Meanwhile, West Scranton got the win against Wyoming Valley West on Monday by a conclusive 14-4.
Kaleiah Connor was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. Connor was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, West Scranton let Brianna Connor and Mia Keenan run wild.
