Basketball Game Preview: Conant Cougars vs. New Trier Trevians

Conant hasn't had much luck against New Trier recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cougars will host the Trevians at 7:00 p.m. New Trier took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Conant, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Conant didn't have too much trouble with South Elgin as they won 57-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Meanwhile, New Trier ended up a good deal behind Lake Park on Monday and lost 42-28. The game marked the Trevians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The win got Conant back to even at 9-9. As for New Trier, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.
