Basketball Recap: Central Piles Up the Points Against Harris County

It was a proper cat-fight when Central faced off against Harris County on Friday. The Central Lions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Harris County Tigers 77-34. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Central to victory were Khaven Cochran and Chace North. Cochran went 8 for 16 en route to 24 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while North went 10 of 13 to rack up 22 points and four steals. That's the most points Cochran has posted since back in December of 2024. Messiah Boykin was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Harris County, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-24.

As of now, neither Central nor Harris County have any future games scheduled.
