Baseball Game Preview: Silver Bluff Bulldogs vs. Mountain View Prep Stars

The Silver Bluff Bulldogs will square off against the Mountain View Prep Stars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Silver Bluff has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Silver Bluff's offense. They came up short against Swansea last Friday, falling 13-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Silver Bluff saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Corley, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Mountain View Prep came up short against Broome on Friday and fell 9-4.

Mountain View Prep now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Silver Bluff, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
