Hayley McFarlane turned in nothing short of a gem on Monday, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with more than five strikeouts. This year, she has an ERA of 2.50 over 14 innings pitched.
