Soccer Game Preview: Little Elm vs. Hebron

The Little Elm Lobos will take on the Hebron Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Little Elm fell victim to Coppell and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 131st in Texas, while the Cowboys are ranked third in Texas).

Meanwhile, Hebron's and Guyer's game on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Hebron turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. Hebron never let Guyer get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won six matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Guyer with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zoe Puente, Leah Simpson, Jordan Hill, and Makayla Aranda.

Little Elm has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. Hebron's win bumped their record up to 9-5.
