Basketball Recap: Lynn English Takes a Loss

Lynn English was the 68-65 winner over Cambridge Rindge & Latin when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lynn English Bulldogs took a 71-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons on Monday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Lynn English and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Lynn English won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Brockton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lynn English's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, they will host Boston Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
