Recap: Parkview Christian Academy Falcons vs. Newark Norsemen
The Parkview Christian Academy Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 47-34 to Newark. Parkview Christian Academy has not had much luck with Newark recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taejon Harris, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of James Jefferson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Parkview Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Newark, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.
Parkview Christian Academy and Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Newark, they will square off against Northridge at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Northridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 287 points over their last four matches.
