 Vallivue has been on the road for four straight, but  on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Caldwell Cougars at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Vallivue will be strutting in after a  win while Caldwell will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Vallivue will bounce into Saturday's   matchup after  beating Columbia, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Vallivue walked away with  a   6-3  victory over Columbia  on Thursday.
 Vallivue saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Nate Bosco, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aaron Rayo, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Caldwell lost  14-8 to Bishop Kelly on Tuesday. Caldwell has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Vallivue's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
 Vallivue came up short against Caldwell when the teams last played  back in April, falling  5-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Caldwell's  Zaylor Bruegeman, who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched.
