Basketball Recap: Lakes Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln, Lakes was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They secured a 73-68 W over the Gig Harbor Tides. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Tides recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Gig Harbor, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lakes is set to square off against their familiar foe Capital at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gig Harbor will challenge rival Lincoln at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
