Baseball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell suffered their closest loss since April 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls by a score of 2-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

This is the second loss in a row for Mitchell and nudges their season record down to 14-9. As for Wiregrass Ranch, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Mitchell will challenge Hernando at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they will face off against Cypress Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
