Softball Recap: Beaver Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Beaver was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ambridge on Monday. The Bobcats blew past the Bridgers 15-1. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Bridgers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Olivia Peabody made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Peabody was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Kenzie Springer was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Jaedyn Brown, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Beaver's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8 runs. As for Ambridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Beaver wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-6 win against Western Beaver on the 30th. As for Ambridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Moon Area on the 5th.
