Baseball Recap: Cross County Comes Up Short

The Cross County Thunderbirds came up short against the Melbourne Bearkatz on Friday, falling 13-2. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ayden Kraft made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Cross County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Melbourne, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cross County will take on Harrisburg in a tournament on Saturday. As for Melbourne, they will square off against Carlisle at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
