Lewis Mills has gone a perfect 5-0 against Platt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Lewis Mills sitting on three straight victories and Platt on four.

Lewis Mills is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Farmington 74-71. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Platt duked it out with Wilcox RVT on Wednesday. The Panthers walked away with a 54-46 victory over the Wildcats.

Lewis Mills better keep an eye on Solana Ortiz. She was instrumental in Platt's win, putting up 33 points. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Ortiz has scored at least a third of the Panthers' points. Kaylani Osborne was another key player, earning 14 points.

Lewis Mills' win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Platt, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
