Softball Recap: Hurley Comes Up Short

Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the East Ridge Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-5 back in March.

Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for East Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hurley and East Ridge will both be playing Grundy the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Golden Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rebels will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
