            Football Recap: Attica Red Ramblers vs. Fountain Central Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Attica extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were dealt  a  49-0 defeat at the hands of the Fountain Central Mustangs. The Red Ramblers were not able to make up for their  loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 Hayden Elliot threw for 30 yards  on four of ten attempts.
As for Fountain Central,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-3. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 5.5 yards per carry in those games compared to only 2.27 in the others.
 Fountain Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Eli Foxworthy, who threw for 264 yards and two  TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes.  Jd Allen helped  Foxworthy out on the ground, rushing for 31 yards and three  scores.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Attica will square off against North Vermillion at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Red Ramblers will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.8  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fountain Central, they will challenge Seeger at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 13.8  points per game  this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
