Snow Canyon lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Canyon View, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's contest. The Snow Canyon Warriors were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the Canyon View Falcons on Saturday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 9-7 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

Ledger Shipp and Trey Vaughn made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Shipp pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Vaughn pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. At the plate, Shipp scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3, while Vaughn went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave Vaughn a new career-high in hits.

In other pitching news, Trent Chris looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, Snow Canyon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dewy Gibb, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Snow Canyon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Canyon View only managed six hits.

The win made it two in a row for Snow Canyon and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Canyon View, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Snow Canyon has already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Provo on the 14th. As for Canyon View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-9 defeat against Desert Hills on the 11th.
