Basketball Recap: Clarendon Takes a Loss

Clarendon suffered their biggest defeat since November 17, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Panhandle Panthers 53-26. The Broncos have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Clarendon's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Panhandle, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Clarendon Broncos challenge the Wheeler Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Panhandle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tascosa at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Tascosa will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Panhandle surely won't give up without a fight.
