Softball Recap: Monroe County Takes a Loss

Monroe County lost against Clinton County two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Falcons came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-3.

Monroe County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendal Bautista, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Monroe County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19-1 record this season. As for Clinton County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Monroe County nor Clinton County have any future games scheduled.
