Volleyball Game Preview: Tokay Tigers vs. Bear Creek Bruins

The Tokay Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Bear Creek Bruins at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Tokay is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

On Wednesday, Tokay beat McNair 3-1.

Meanwhile, Bear Creek posted their closest victory since September 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Weston Ranch.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bear Creek got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-27, 25-20, 22-25, 16-14.

Tokay's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Bear Creek, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Tokay skirted past Bear Creek 3-2 in their previous matchup on September 3rd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
