Basketball Recap: Velva Takes a Loss

Velva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 66-51 to the Harvey Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Aggies were looking for revenge after losing 60-58 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Velva's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Harvey, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Velva has already played their next contest, a 60-39 loss against Kenmare/Bowbells on the 14th. As for Harvey, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tioga at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th.
