Softball Recap: Talawanda Takes a Loss

Talawanda was the 1-0 winner over Eaton when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Brave took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. Brave fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Eagles since on Saturday.

Grace Richardson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Talawanda's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Eaton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Talawanda didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-0 victory against Northwest on the 21st. As for Eaton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 17-2 win against Oakwood on the 22nd.
