Basketball Game Preview: Providence Christian Eagles vs. Rehobeth Rebels

Providence Christian will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Houston Academy, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Providence Christian claimed a resounding 72-44 victory over Houston Academy. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Rehobeth strolled past Northside Methodist Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-47. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Knights are ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Providence Christian's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Rehobeth, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
