Softball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Comes Up Short

El Paso-Gridley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tri-Valley Vikings, falling 15-4. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

El Paso-Gridley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaelynn Krones, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1. Tori Seggerman was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

El Paso-Gridley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Tri-Valley, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0-1.

Coming up, El Paso-Gridley will venture away from home to challenge Deer Creek-Mackinaw at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-Valley, they will host Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sages' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
