Crater came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Eagle Point Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Comets have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Crater's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Eagle Point, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Crater is set to take on their familiar foe Ashland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eagle Point will square off against rival Churchill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
