Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Arcadia

Arcadia entered their tilt with Luther on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Knights. Considering the Raiders have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Arcadia's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Luther, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arcadia will welcome Blair-Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 2.9, the Wildcats 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Luther, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Onalaska at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hilltoppers have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
