Soccer Game Preview: Lynden Christian vs. Sehome

Lynden Christian hasn't had much luck against Sehome recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Lyncs will head out on the road to take on the Mariners at 1:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Lynden Christian made easy work of Oak Harbor and carried off a 4-1 win.

The Lyncs hit the Wildcats with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Harvest Howell (2), Oak Howell, and Luke Bos.

Meanwhile, Sehome hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Anacortes. Considering Sehome have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sehome's victory bumped their record up to 8-0-2. As for Lynden Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-2.

Lynden Christian might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Sehome in their previous meeting back in April of 2022. Can the Lyncs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
