Softball Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Hawks vs. Lee Park Prep Knights

After flying high against Calvary Christian last Tuesday, Forsyth Home Educators came back down to earth. The Forsyth Home Educators Hawks wound up on the wrong side of a rough 15-3 walloping at the hands of the Lee Park Prep Knights on Thursday.

Forsyth Home Educators saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Nellis, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Ella Beaver was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

On Lee Park Prep's side, Emma Shulenberger was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.
