Baseball Game Preview: Gallup Bengals vs. Miyamura Patriots

Gallup hasn't had much luck against Miyamura recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bengals will take on the Patriots at 1:00 p.m. Gallup has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gallup lost 13-3 to Bloomfield on Thursday. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Miyamura came up short against Kirtland Central on Thursday, falling 14-1.

Miyamura saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Antonio, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Antonio has hit this season.

Gallup's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Miyamura, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Gallup skirted past Miyamura 6-5 when the teams last played on April 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
