The Hico Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Gordon Longhorns at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hico is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Hico lost 10-3 to Rio Vista on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Hico saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Jackson, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Jackson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another was Tyler Rainwater, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Gordon hadn't done well against Lipan recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Gordon skirted past Lipan 1-0. The win was just business as usual for the Longhorns, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Hico's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Gordon, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
