Basketball Recap: Homestead's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Homestead won the last time they faced Cedarburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Homestead Highlanders came out on top against the Cedarburg Bulldogs by a score of 69-61. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Homestead's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5. As for Cedarburg, they moved to 7-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Homestead will face off against West Bend West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Bend West will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Homestead surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedarburg, they will square off against West Bend East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedarburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully West Bend East likes a good challenge.
