Soccer Game Preview: Globe vs. ALA - Mesa North

The Globe Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the ALA - Mesa North Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Globe's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Globe's offense. They lost 19-0 to Benjamin Franklin on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Globe haven't been shut out since back in December of 2025.

Meanwhile, ALA - Mesa North made easy work of San Tan Charter on Friday and carried off a 6-1 win. Considering ALA - Mesa North have won three matchups by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for ALA - Mesa North and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two contests. As for Globe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
