Softball Recap: Providence Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Providence Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Blake Bears as they made off with a 15-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Providence Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Blake, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Providence Academy will face off against Minnehaha Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions are facing the Red Hawks at the right time seeing as the Red Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Blake, they will challenge Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
