Como-Pickton came tearing into Thursday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Martins Mill Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 14 contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Como-Pickton's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Martins Mill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
