Richton extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jaden Husband. The Richton Rebels snuck past the Heidelberg Oilers with a 54-49 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Husband, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points and five steals. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high.
The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Brown, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. He is becoming a predictor of Richton's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 16-5 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Richton's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Heidelberg, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-10.
