Pike County Central won the last time they faced Martin County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 14-2 victory. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Pike County Central and bumps their season record up to 7-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Martin County, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
