Basketball Recap: Lindhurst Takes a Loss

Lindhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 66-53 to the Mesa Verde Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, with their most recent loss being a 63-20 defeat back in January.

Lindhurst's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Mesa Verde, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindhurst and Golden Sierra will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Mesa Verde, they will challenge Woodland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
