Wahama is a perfect 9-0 against Wirt County since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The White Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wahama barely beat Greater Beckley Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The White Falcons were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Crusaders on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the White Falcons considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Wirt County hadn't done well against St. Marys recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Blue Devils.

The team relied heavily on Trenton Watson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Wahama's record now sits at 5-8. As for Wirt County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Wahama was able to grind out a solid win over Wirt County when the teams last played back in March, winning 9-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the White Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
