Baseball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union's last matchup with Wayland could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. Union came up short against Wayland, falling 11-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Hawks in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wayland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will head out to challenge Martin at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayland, they will venture away from home to take on Hopkins at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
