Baseball Game Preview: Seekonk Warriors vs. West Bridgewater Wildcats

The Seekonk Warriors will head out on the road to take on the West Bridgewater Wildcats at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Seekonk is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since April 19, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Greater New Bedford RVT by a score of 8-6.

Connor Flynn was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Austin Robinson, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, West Bridgewater's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 6-3 to Somerset Berkley Regional.

West Bridgewater's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Seekonk, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Seekonk was able to grind out a solid victory over West Bridgewater when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
