Basketball Recap: Lehi Find Success

There's no place like home for Lehi, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They escaped with a win on Friday against the American Fork Cavemen by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-52 back in January.

Mckenzie Jepson had an outrageously good game as she posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Brynlee Cook was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win snapped Lehi's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-8 record. As for American Fork, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Lehi will challenge Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Fork, they will host Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
