Marlboro Central has gone 8-2 against New Paltz recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Dukes will venture away from home to square off against the Huguenots at 4:15 p.m. New Paltz took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Marlboro Central, who comes in off a win.

While Marlboro Central's victory against Red Hook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dukes had just enough and edged out the Raiders 9-8 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dukes.

Meanwhile, New Paltz came up short against Our Lady of Lourdes on Wednesday and fell 5-2.

Jack Maiale was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Aiden McDonough also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The win got Marlboro Central back to even at 3-3. As for New Paltz, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Marlboro Central couldn't quite get it done against New Paltz in their previous matchup last Tuesday as they fell 6-3. Can the Dukes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
