Menlo-Atherton moved up to 174 from 300 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Peninsula - Bay. The Bears were able to move up by topping St. Ignatius 21-16.
Menlo-Atherton and the Wildcats played the most contested game in the league this week, with Menlo-Atherton eventually emerging with a 21-16 victory. Brian Keare threw for 302 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 26 yards during the win.

Faavae Brown was the most successful running back in Peninsula - Bay this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 194 yards as Sequoia bested San Mateo. Matt Jenkins also contributed to the rushing game with 90 yards on the ground.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Jaylen Jones. The Terra Nova star has 20 catches for 507 yards.
South San Francisco lost to Half Moon Bay 56-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
