Baseball Game Preview: Chicago University Maroons vs. Argo Argonauts

The Chicago University Maroons will challenge the Argo Argonauts at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Chicago University and three for Argo.

Chicago University fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Jones on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-5.

Meanwhile, Argo didn't have quite enough to beat Reavis on Tuesday and fell 5-4.

Argo saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Gracia, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Gracia's first of the season.

Chicago University's record now sits at 5-12. As for Argo, their record is now 11-18.
