Lakeview extends road losing streak to four

Recap: Lakeview Wildcats vs. Tri County Area Vikings

The Lakeview Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tri County Area. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lakeview in their matchups with Tri County Area: they've now lost six in a row.

Leading Tri County Area to victory were Connor Henry and Brennan Grabinski. Henry scored 14 points along with three steals, while Grabinski scored 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Grabinski has scored all season. Gavin Rykse was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds.

Lakeview's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Tri County Area, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview will take on Holton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Michigan (Holton is ranked 693rd, while Lakeview is ranked 703rd). As for Tri County Area, they will be playing at home against Zion Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
